Default Camshaft Synchronizer Out of Position??

So I swapped out my Camshaft Synchro the other day and was almost positive I reinstalled it in the exact position that the old one was in but now my truck seems, I'm not sure, sort of weak? It could be psychological but I can't tell. Would it be very apparent if I missed a tooth when I reinstalled it? Drove it to work and back today and nothing felt too out of place, acceleration felt fine, the idle just seemed sort of quiet? I was wondering if I would know for sure if I had missed a tooth or maybe some signs to look for. My rpms are at about 6.5-8k, seemed like it could be low, but again, I'm just not sure. Please let me know what you guys think. Thank you.

If you put it back wrong, the timing will be very sightly off and you may feel it skip or "hiccup" at some point during acceleration.
