You can test your coil pack with some help.
The replaced heads would be reason enuf for me to look for a cause and effect there more than double checking plugs again.
Hope it is the plugs and connections. GL.

3.0 heads are notorious for having crappy (soft) valve seats.

Store doesn't carry motorcraft, ford closed so I bought one single autolite spark plug just to see, calling oreilys now.

Re: Misfire codes, coil pack changed already (p0302,p0316,p0300)
I was surprised to find out i didn't have motorcraft plugs in the truck, I am not sure why my dad and I put autolite spark plugs in my truck last time, maybe I was in a bind idk. but they were SHOT! I replaced the cylinder 2 plug no difference, changed ALL to motorcraft (did not change wires, broke right now) and it runs A lot better, now idk if I fixed the issue or not. a few times the idle felt rough driving around, a few times the RPM very slightly fluctuated but towards the end of my 20 minute drive it was doing much better. I kinda feel like I wasted money on buying a coil pack but I guess 190k on one coil pack , it was preventive maintenance?
I am watching the codes and hoping they do not come back...now....
Spark plug wires look good, should I replace them anyway? I checked passenger side ones for spark but then got electrocuted and didn't check the driver ones......is there a better way to check for spark? lol I even had leather gloves on.

Well decided to add wires, got the firing order wrong a few times but got it right now BUT it runs worse than it did before I changed the wires WTFFF

Re: Misfire codes, coil pack changed already (p0302,p0316,p0300)
UPDATE!
Drove my truck hard after getting firing order wrong to get excess fuel out, all of the sudden it was idling BEATUIFULLY! glad I did wires, it was even better after wires. ultimately this cost me about 130 bucks, I probably did not need the coil pack (75 bucks but Its ok because it was probably time anyway)
Plugs and wires were the problem I guess!

Most people would be amazed with what new wires and plugs can do.

That's nice, a tune up did it
Is this your first ranger? (appears not your first post) how's those ford fanatics guys forum...I've never heard of that site,
Seems like you have enough tools if you were able to swap out plugs.
Do you have a good repair manual?
What other preventive maintenance have you done?

Especially when they are Motorcraft plugs and wires.
Glad to hear that you got the issue resolved. Stick with Motorcraft parts and you will be fine .
