Ok so at same rpm the engine is under less load if you're driving as opposed to in park...?

U got it backwards...the engine is under load while driving...moving the tanny...so its under less load, acutally zero load when in park.......

Yeah you gotthat back words.... Try this, go sit on a bike and ride it around, go fast go slow. Now stabilize your bike so doesn't tip over, take off the chain and pedal as hard as you can, your legs(the pistiOns) start to loose control and become reckless, but under load (the weight of the truck, or yourself on the bike) your under control. It's when there is no load that you start throwing things around and trashing your engine. Just takes common sence and very basic understanding of an engine. Mabey you should get how engines work for dummies.... Lol Jk hope that explained it well enough!!
