I have never seen one of those in person before... I guess I will soon now that I own one ☺! So what makes it different than an 04+?

for one the dome is a LOT more pronounced and its made of fiberglass compared to aluminum on the 04-11 trucks

The 04+ is a powerdome as well only difference is the cut into the hood to accommodate the larger grille. And made of aluminum. My '11 is considered to have a powerdome, according to the VIN decoder, and original build sheet.

Yes, it may have called a "powerdome" by Ford - but isn't considered the TRUE powerdome (by Ranger enthusiasts).

There is a height difference between the two - it's much more defined & pronounced on the 01-03's. Deeper center-cut as well.

I remember this being "questioned & debated" back in 2004........

Oh i see the fact that Ford called it a powerdome, and the higher grille, made me think there wasn't actually a difference in "dome height ". Lol glad I missed that debate must have caused a lot of butthurt.

I have a true powerdome. Probably why I don't need a supercharger.

Just finished re applying the blueprints onto the new ViaCAD software at work. Also emailed some files for metal stencils to my machinist which will allow me to tell physically how the supercharger will sit in my truck and check for all my clearances, alignment, tolerances etc. Pretty excited! Once this is all clear, it's just a matter of waiting for him to mill out the real intake. Time is now in the hands of my machinist

I'm loving this so far! How is the price looking this far into it, and how much longer until you think it'll be done?

to get the bare supercharger and run low boost, you're looking at about 1,000$ based off my machinists quote of 600$ and the m90 I found online for about 200$ plus some aluminum adapters and aluminum intake piping which I will post once I get to that. I think the guy who's milling it out is a bit overpriced, but he's allowing me to make the stencils at no charge which is what really won me over. Plus he considered giving me a job there lol so shoot he might be my boss soon

So it's still keeping pretty low! I can't wait until it's done (if you can't tell yet, I'm probably going to buy it from you) and I hope you get the job!

sweet! We'll see how it goes. I'm sure if I ask around I can find someone to do it for cheaper. Once I get a set cad drawing I'll go machinist shopping. Who know maybe if there's enough of a crowd and I mention this to my machinist he'll lower the price to spit out a few of these for you guys to buy.

Are you planning on selling this as a "complete kit" (w/ supercharger) - or just the intake adapter and people would source the other components (supercharger, fuel components, intake etc.)?

I personally would never run an 'eBay special' supercharger (or include as a kit) without at least having it professionally rebuilt & inspected prior to slapping it atop an engine.

That would be a ticking time-bomb IMO.

I would just sell you guys the intake and corresponding bolts and gasket. Ill leave the discretion and decision of buying the supercharger to you guys.

However, it didn't cost much to fix mine up. Bearings looked good, just gave it some new oil, new coupler, grease etc
