Default Inconsistent Idle

Hi All,
2003 Ranger V-6 3.0 Flex. 374,238 miles.

What I've done.
Replaced MAF, IAC, TPS, EGR, Plug Wires and the coil pack just for show.
Had intake, throttle body, vacuum lines and fuel injectors professionally cleaned and tested by my tried and true shop of choice.

Here's the issue.
Often I have to stay in one place for an hour or more. I run the engine for comfort reasons.
The engine will idle perfectly at times. Other times it will idle at about 1200 RPM and jump to 1600 RPM in cadence with the A/C compressor.
Yet other times it will idle at 1800 RPM with very little change when the compressor kicks in.
When it is acting strangely I can turn it off let it calm down, restart the engine and get a different behavior. No rhyme or reason; perfect, 1200-1600 or 1800.

Looking for the ethereal goo on this one.

Even 1200-1600 is high. Mine idles right around 800.

Have you changed the crank shaft sensor? That could be the problem. Mine had a strange idle at 200,000+ miles suddenly and once i changed it on my truck it started idling better. Seems like around here its noted to change it every 80,000 or something. I feel like it unneeded for that but i get their drift

I've never changed my crank sensor. The cam synch and cam position sensor have been changed, but the crank sensor is still the same one that came from the factory in 2000.

Wondering if you ever solved this? Mine is doing the exact same thing. Thanks.
