Default Changing Fuel Injector Size

Hey guys, it's been a long while!

Some updates...
My 5.0 swap hit dead stop a couple weeks back. Hadn't run the engine in a while and the battery went dead so I had to jump it (still in the explorer) and I let it run to get some charge back in the battery. I took it for a quick drive after about 30 minutes of running in my driveway and got it up to 70. Started running funky and let off the gas. That's when the nasty smell I've smelled before came through the vents (COOLANT). Got the explorer home safe, about 3 miles and checked it up and down. The head gasket blew due to some surface rust between the gasket. Engine smoking when running so now it's just another project to get to during my summer off. In the meantime I'd like to play around with my 3.0 whole I've still got it

I've been looking at some 1.8 roller rockers, did some mild research and pretty much just came to the conclusion that they dump a tad more air in to the cylinders for a little extra HP, also speeding up the rev. My neighbor has a nice set of jba headers that will really help dump that extra air (in to my dual exhaust).
To my recollection I have 21lb injectors since I have a ffv 3.0... My idea, possibly dumb, is that while upgrading the rockers I also up the injectors to a slightly larger size, perhaps 22lb-24lb, and be able to get away without a reflash.... Probably not, but it's an idea. The ranger does not get driven. Maybe once a month just for shits n giggles, so it's not depended on in any way and can be immobilized without penalty. Any better ideas or help would be appreciated

If you look at the inside of your intake manifold it is very rough, head porting will help slightly. A somewhat popular upgrade is to swap the cast manifold for a newer plastic one.

I may just rebuild the 5.0 or find another one. Pricing these ponies out is a big turn off. But thank you!!

Bigger injectors should be unnecessary, just get a tune.
