Thumbs up Re: Spark plugs and wire sets?

I just bought an 03 with a 3.0 vulcan in it, 106k miles. It looks like they replaced only 2 plugs previously cause the wire caps are a different color than the rest... so I figure I'll change all the plugs and wires. I'm thinking I'll go with motorcraft or autolite after what you guys are saying. I only have minimal tools, socket wrench with short extension, and the spark plug socket. Would I need anything other than those tools to change the plugs? And how long should I plan for this to take me? I couldn't find a how to on the site with pictures, but looking under the hood it seems like it's fairly straight forward... I'd just hate to get through a few and find out I need something other than what I have. Thanks!

BTW, this forum is great!

Have a 12" length of hose that will hold the spark plug. Use it to hand start the plugs. It's what the manual recomends and it's easer than using your hand or the extention. Also some anti-seize compound for the threads is a good idea. Also an idea stolen from the manual but if you've ever had to bully a hard enough to reach plug out of an engine I bet you end up liking the idea.
