My truck makes a knocking sound when driving any time it's in gear and I'm accelerateing sounds like a rod but don't do it when I rev it up out of gear. Any input??

Something under your truck is loose and moving around when the truck is moving.

If it was a rod bearing, you'd hear it in park too, not just in gear. Check your driveshaft/universal joints. Those can make noises when going bad and the driveshaft only spins when in gear. Also if you have any frisky buddies, make sure they haven't put zip ties on your driveshaft.
