3.0 exhaust
Hello everyone. First time on here and trying to find out some information. I have an 03 ranger xlt with the 3.0. What's a good exhaust system for that? Preferably something loud and legal.

Won't get a very loud and good sounding exhaust from these trucks.
This is my 3.0 with a Flowmaster 40. That's probably as much as I'd go cause it might start to sound ricey and bad

That sounds pretty good. I like it. Thanks for sharing. Did you order that through flowmaster? Maybe you have a link so I can check it.

No. Modifying the exhaust will not give more power.

Re: 3.0 exhaust
Just don't do a glasspack or straight through muffler, you'll lose what low end the 3 liter has

I just got truck a week ago, very loud, needs a new muffler/tailpipe. What do you recommend besides stock muffler? Do not care on price, IF I can get any more horsepower or better performance.

Flowmaster or magnaflow are good mufflers
