1993 vs 1996 3.0L
I have a 1996 ford ranger in good shape, except engine has weak compression in two cylinders (4 and 5). It could be head gasket, but I think might be easier to replace with junk yard replacement. My question is a 1993 engine the same as a 1996? Any other suggestions appreciated. Thanks in advance. ASAP would be good

The 96 is distributorless while you have a distributor.
