we make peak torque at 3200 rpm. after that it kind of trails off due to volumetric efficiency.

Well im just saying people expect all the torque at like 2000 rpm.. With a v6 it'll have to rev a little before it makes power. Unless its supercharged or or turbo'd or what not.

That would be fun. The tdi can make 200 hp with stock internals and in a single cab ranger get low to mid 40s.

I'm not a huge diesel fan.. Mostly because the hicks in my city give it a bad name. And its expensive compared to gas haha

There's a difference between hicks, and fuel economy. plus the diesel will outlast any damn gasser.

I love racing straight pipe v8's in my "little" ranger... I don't even think they know what my headlights look like lol
