Default Hi idle then then low after coming to a stop for 3 seconds
Hi all Just installed a new clutch and now while rolling I have a high idle of around 1500 then approx 3 seconds after coming to a stop it drops to 600. This happens every single time like it is programmed. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance 2003 3.0

Cle.an the maf and iac. disconnect the battery while doing it then reconnect It

Sounds like a sensor somewhere from the engine back was not reconnected or come loose - ?

IAC probably dirty. Good cleaning should do it. Common problem.

What is an IAC and where is it located, so I can clean mine. My 2001 3.0 sticks at 4 rpms all the time, but engine is not revved up, just needle issue.

Idle Air Control, but it has nothing to do with your tachometer.
