Default Po 1132

My '99 3.0 goes about 10 mi then starts breaking down, spitting black smoke. It's somewhat intermittent it'll clear for a moment or two. I'm getting PO 1132, not switching, sensing rich (no kidding) I'm trying a new ho2 sensor bank 1, front. Any suggestions? TIA John

I assume you mean a P0132, which would be a heated o2 sensor, bank 1 sensor 1 fault

This will cause the computer to miss-read and can cause smoking. You are on the right track by replacing it first.

so I installed the new oxygen sensor, and after 10 mi, it did the same thing, so I turned off the key a couple of times, and it ran fine. So I'm thinking it's maybe Bank2 sensor? or the EGR Dpfe sensor? or the MAF? or the evap canister? or the gas cap? or the oil filler cap? aarg
