Default Your Gas Mileage?
i want to see the most common gas mileage people get in their v6 rangers. if you have a manuel post a comment which mileage you picked.

Sorry, I voted before I noticed that you said V6. In my '05 I get 26 city, 30 highway. In the '98 I get 26 highway, and haven't run a city tank through yet, but I would guess about 21.

In the 9414 miles I have on my truck. I have put in 328.2 gallons of non ethanol gasoline for an over all average of 28.7. My all time best is 36mpg & the worst tank ever was 21mpg. The bad one was during the winter where I idle the truck 20-30 minutes in the morning before leaving for work & idling it 15 min or so before heading home.

Maybe you should put V6 in the thread title, 'cause usually people don't brag about the mileage on their V6's, especially the 3.0 since it doesn't even have a power advantage over a 2.3D.

well it is in the v6 thread place so i thought that u might be smart enuff to c that it is for v6's but i guess ur not

.....11 mpg , but i step on it all the time cuz i hate going slow and hate not having alot of power

Average was around 18, but I was over 20 on the highway.

i get about 16 or so.

90 ranger 2.9 v6, 5 speed
regular cab long box 2wd.
feature mods-
short ram intake, dynomax exhaust, homade bull guard here soon, 2" body lift 4" suspension lift, 33 bfg all terains.
selling the truck this summer and buying a new ranger hopefully.
