Default O2 Sensor Bank 1 Sensor 1

Took it to autozone to get the codes ran and it was "O2 Sensor Bank 1 Sensor 1 Slow Response". I asked the guy if this would affect my gas mileage and he said yes lol. So I now know my problem...Is this perticular Sensor easy to get to?

Follow your exhaust pipe down from the engine to the catalytic converter. You'll see two identical sensors screwed into your exhaust. Disconnect the electric connector from the one closest to your engine and unscrew it. A special sensor socket with a slot in the side for the wire to protrude from or an open end wrench can be used.

Wait till someone else can reply and verify which one Bank1 Sensor1 is. But I'm reasonably sure of this. For now I just know it's a simple swap.

For the 3.0 V6?Year 1998?

Also could this be why Im getting poor gas mileage? and my truck has more power when its cold? Cause I heard the sensor dont kick on until the engine is 145 degrees. Once my engine warms up, it loses power.

if it is the blue one, i have one.

Your sensor is always reading as long as the sensor itself is heated, but your sensor is ignored until the pcm is running in closed loop fuel trim, which is about 145 degrees, so yes and no.
