I scanned the computer and I have three issues. My EGR valve is open or getting to much fuel; my EGR sensor is saying I’m not getting enough fuel. And I have a cylinder 3 misfire.
I’ve never changed my plugs and its getting close to 100K miles. (86k right now) So that may be what will fix the misfire.
BUT, how hard is it to get to the spark plugs on a 2001 V6 3.0 Ranger? Should I even bother?
Also, would it be a good idea to start with the EGR sensor (45.99) before the valve (59.99)?
