Haha,
I know what I need to do if I did the supra swap, just didn't know if anybody else on here had done anything like it?

I've seen ONE ranger doit.

http://www.therangerstation.com/foru...ad.php?t=52664

I had the idea, and then started searching to see if anybody else had done it. And I found one man brave enough to take the leap.
;p

The show "Trucks" is putting a 4.6 into a B2500 right now on their shows. If you go to powerblocktv.com, they have an episode available to watch online. Seems pretty easy, considering.

Awesome.
Now, to go to Aruba and Import/Export my truck both ways.

idk, it seems worthy, but after slight modifications, I'd be afraid of like, chassis tweak, axle snaps, etc.

Its a torque monster, and my trucks not exactly made to be beastly.
Could something like that cause the chassis to tweak and bend?

I know the axle would be solved by getting a different, stronger one.

I want a sleeper truck that can eat rice. If you know what I mean.

That's what my Sonoma is being built for lol to eat ricers. You would have to make way more then 300 hp to twist that frame, unless it's already weakened some how

With a stock 2JZ GTE, the American import version, gets 320HP, with slight mods, mainly to the Twin Turbos, it can get around 500HP. And the Transmission that I'll most likely get, a V160 or V161(Year of engine dependant) It can handle up to 700HP, if I tweaked it some more.

I think I would just modify the TT's for awhile, until I was ready to do some major mods to the truck.

Could you imagine, being a ricer. And a Stock looking 94 Ranger Splash came up to you, wanting to rice, without revving the engine to make the TT's audible., and then smoked you severely. How incredibly funny that would be.

That's why we stopped fing with the pink Mustang back home lol And you might want to do some support to your frame with 700 hp, I know a little about these engines, but I mostly built Hondas and Nissans when I was building tuners for the race crowds.

Just a thought, if you put a Jap motor in your truck, is it not in essence a ricer truck now?

Nope,
Its a tuner engine.

Nissan GT-R's like the r32, R33, and R34, the Toyota Supra, and a various other few are tuners.
NEVER ricers.

Although damn near any car can be a ricer. I've seenMustang Ricers before.

(Ricer: from the latin word Ricarius meaning to suck at everything you attempt)

A person who makes unecessary modifications to their most often import car (hence the term "rice") to make it (mostly make it look) faster. The most common modifications are (but not limited to):

- Huge exhaust that serves no purpose but to make the car louder
- Large spoiler on the back that looks like something Boeing made for the 747
- Lots of after-market company stickers they don't have parts from, but must be cool
- Expensive rims that usually cost more than the car itself
- Bodykit to make the car appear lower, usually accented with chicken wire
- Clear tail lights and corner signals
- A "performace intake"- a tube that feeds cold air to their engine usually located in areas of excessive heat (behind or on top of the engine)
- Most of these riced cars (a.k.a. rice rockets or rice burners) are imports; Honda Civics, Accords, Integras, CRXs, RSXs, Del Sols Mitsubishi Eclipses, Lancers, Subaru Imprezas, however there are some domestics such as Chevrolet Caviliers, Dodge Neons, Ford Focus; small, slow, economy cars designed specifically to go slow. Please note that some Supras, Skylines, WRX's and other higher performance imports are designed to go fast, and are therfore not always considered rice. It really depends on the severity of the case. he "ricer" attempts to make their car "performance" by adding the modifications listed above. These ricers are not confined to any one ethnic group or color, however different ethnic groups are known for certain styles.
Honda Civics with big spoilers and 4" exhaust tips are considered to be ricers.

Nothing in there about adding an import engine and tranny to a domestic car.

But thats not really considered rice. Just freaking awesome.

Lol my definition is it's from Asia it's rice, German it's a wheat burner, and if it's from the US it's powered by Corn lol
