Angry chugging idle... recent head gasket job

ok so i had a bad head gasket and took the heads off and had them resurfaced and put new gaskets on and put everything back togeter and my truck starts up fine, but it is idling in a chugging sound... it sounds like something is off. im thnking it may be the timing. im not sure how ti adjust the timing so if anyone knows please share.. im also considering, i couldve ran the spark plug wires in the wrong sequence... or could it be that there is still some coolant that is still getting in the combustion chamber even though i drained my oil and antifreeze before starting my truck up the engine is 99 3.0 flex fuel v6 2wd 5 speed manual.... let me know what you thing the spuddering sound may be..

is it like a little bit of vibration? Thats what ive got and it seems alot of 3.0 ranger dudes complain about it. Might be normal

so i figured out what the prob was..... fortunately it was a simple fix...... i misread the wiring diagram for the spark plug wires on one side of the block..... it sounds beautiful now and runs great....
