Default crank pulley

hey has anyone bought an underdog crank pulley. i see that it give your truck more hp and torque. it also clams that it will improve your gas mileage. has anybody tried one and seen if it works? it doesnt even have to be underdog it could be any brand, just want to know if it works.

It works yes. How much it actually improves things is what's debatable.

yea it claims to give you a 2-5 mpg. They say the 5 mpg increase is on the highway. And the city driving varies 2 and up. It's $80, do you think it's worth getting it?

Where are you coming up with you're information? Underdog doesn't mention any MPG figures on their site... I've spoken with underdog himself and he said to expect about a 0.5 boost in MPG.

IMHO, it's worth it for the all around improvements.

its easy, if you can get the correct lenth sockets and everything, you can ge it off and the new one back on with out taking the fan shroud off, to get the fan off you need a special tool so try to get a lenth that makes it were you don tneed to remove the fan.
