Default replaced crankshaft position sensor now the truck wont start

my truck is a 99 4x4 with a 3.0. yesterday my cel came on so i took it to autozone and they told me it was the crankshaft position sensor. i replaced it today and now the truck will crank but not start.

hey dude i have the same truck but mine is a two wheel drive 3.0 and i did the same thing and now my truck wont start. found the problem replacment part duralast su4101 crank sensor is a bad replacement part. the plug is not made the same as the factory part THANKS ALOT AUTO ZONE!

Make sure you put it on right. Its sensing when the crankshaft is in the correct position, if its not on right, it wont start.

I have narrowed my problem down to the same thing. I found out that it takes a special tool to dial it in properly.
