Mine is a ManuAl trans....who is Manuel? Is that what you named your Ranger? I never thought about naming my truck. I'll have to think of one.

i just realized that i forgot to mention that my speeds are in kilometres. i thought i put the km. after the numbers. sorry. just wondering why people doubted the numbers. and i know my 0-60 will not be in the 10's. i thought this site was for people to test what they had to help others who are contemplating on what upgrades to make.

----------

i built my ranger with mainly light trails in mind.snow and dirt racing more than anything. but i also tow between 6000 and 7000 lbs(that is in pounds) up and down the highway at 112km/h and the rev's maintain 2450rpm's.large uphills jump it to 3100rpm's

Time from 0-60....Never timed it, but I can bet there is an hourglass involved.

Yeah the 2.3 is slow as molasses, but it can do some EPIC burnouts. My truck before my current 2004 Edge 4x4 4.0 5-speed, was a 1993 XLT 2.3 5-speed and it would spin until you let off the throttle, period.

just tryed the 0-60(it is in miles per hour). my programmer was set at quick performance on 87 octane.A 200lb passenger, myself at 300lbs, roughly 400-500lbs of tools, fasteners and equipment in the bed. The rest of my trucks upgrades you can find on my info. dead stop 0-60 in 10.64seconds. I expext to destroy that time when trucks empty and i reprogram at a higher octane and shift points. My truck still races the trails, mud, snow and grabs the turns on the road.i'll keep ya posted on my next try.
