I have yet to go 60 in my truck. So I have no idea. All I know, is that I didn't buy the truck to go fast.

I'll have to change the the shift points and the setting to 93 octane then try it.I know doing 130 on the highway and then hammering it, the 4.0L jumps up to 167 like nothin to pass.got 4.10gears. K&n cold air, dual 3" air intake ports, Gibson exhaust and stiff suspension.I'll try the 0-60 and let ya know

Quite possible, but your mom's Camry does not hit 60 in 5, 6, or probably even 7 seconds.

Yeah not believing the whole 5-7 second range. I have a cobalt ss supercharged with full stage II performance upgrade and the fastest ive clocked in at was 6.2 seconds 0-60(in colorado at 6,150ft elevation). Its beat quite a few of the new GTOs and looses by about a half length to a mustang GT in a 1/4. There is NO way that those numbers were reached on a relatively stock ranger by a legitimate test. Flat surface, correct speedo/radar, the timer to start immediately before you launch not after. If you really want to know the stats on it take it to your local open track day. I got 3 timed runs on the strip for 15$ and you get your 60ft time 0-60, 0-100(if reached), 1/4 time and trap speed. Of course you can start the timer while at a partial roll or downhill and get some rediculous times but thats not a true 0-60. Launching is really the tough part and thats why a ton of trucks have slower 0-60 times cause they cant put down much power without breaking traction and serious truck drags are always in 4wd(not recommended but indeed much faster launches).

yea i have a heavy modded v6 and it makes plenty of power but the trucks rear end is so light i cant get the traction to put the power to the ground, then again i didn't build it for drag.
