many years ago, I stupidly did 155 in a ford probe...awesome experience, now that I have a kid, I wish people aren't as stupid as I was. Damn, that was fast, though!

I would NEVER go that fast in a ranger. That is just asking for trouble. Once I took my GT to 130mph, but that was at 3am when nobody was on the road and NO ONE was in my car. I'm not planning on doing it again either and my car IS set up for it. Top speed is not the coolest thing. Acceleration is the fun part. That and thrashing through the gears

I agree that whole comment is stupid. I'm not by any means "scared" to go that fast. However I'm smart enough to know none of the roads around here are designed to be driven that fast on unless it's a drag strip or race track.

I hope to god that the day you hit something and kill yourself it doesn't involve anyone else, because that day will happen if your always doing 100+ like you say.

i dont know how fast my truck will do. my spedometer says 85 but that was with 14s and small tires. now im running 31 10.s 15 mud terrains and it is way faster than 85. one of my freinds has a ranger that still has the 14s on it and we raced. his spedometer needle was on the 1 on the gear shift. my needle was on 75. lol

ok so obliviously some1 has not studied on how they build roads and how the speedometers are actually set

well first the roads are built to hold a tractor trailer with a load of 100k now their only aloud to carry 80k well im my state i dont know other states regulations but any ways

so the road is built to with stand 100k now at what speed
most roads are gauged at or around 120mph with the 100k load in a tractor trailer
so you driving your 2 and a half thousand pound truck is not going to hurt the road
about people coming out
where in the hell are you looking when your driving
you should be looking AT THE LEAST 100 feet out again at the least
and thats at 55mph
so if your 1 of the people that are looking right in front of your bumper you should not be driving on any road YOU ARE THE CAUSE OF ACCIDENTS

the 100 feet should increase 25 feet for every 5 miles per hr so at 110 you should be looking about one third of a mile up the road

now let me say before any1 gets ahead of them self
if you can not see that far you should not be driving that fast

i dont want to hear how long you have been driving bc that could matter less its about how far
in laymmans terms you could have been driving for 20 years but in that time have only drove for a total of 100k
OR
you could have drove for 5 years with 100k so its not how long its how far

im pretty sure no1 on here has more than 500k so get more miles under you belt and come back you will have to drive 30k a month to be at the same pace as me
no i dont drive for a living its all personal driving meaning i pay for all the gas that goes into my tank bc its my car and i dont use it to make money

Wow, you just got even more dumb. Hard to believe. Hopefully when you do get into an accident it will be a tire blowout with nobody else around. If you die because you're an idiot it's one thing, but if you kill people because you are an idiot it is something completely different.

wow, your cool. how about if a deer jumped out in front of you...? they sure dont stand in the road 100' away, in my experience they jump out right in front of you! and what the hell does the weight limit of the road have anything to do with speed...?

see your scared
if your worrying about a deer then you dont have the balls

grow some nuts

im gona guess your one of those guys that dont make a move unless your told to do so

o and speedometers are set 10% faster than what you re actually going

so 100mph would be 90mph

^^^ Your an ass hat. It has nothing to do with being scared. I have done my share of "scary" things in my life. It's called I have a family and people that depend on me. You should be banned from this site for your stupidity rubbing off on every one!

As far as speedos go, when I am going 70 in my truck, my GPS also says 70. So your theroy is flawed, show some evidence of this claim.
