Default exhaust smells like gas and is smoking

my truck has a 3.0 v6 and it ran fine until recently now it has white smoke coming out of the exhaust and my exhaust smells like really strong gas and it takes me putting the pedal to the floor to get it to go sometimes any suggestions of what it could be?

Blown Head gasket or cracked head.

From my understanding white smoke means your burning antifreeze. Burning antifreeze means you have head trouble. But you may also want to go here http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_can_c...om_the_exhaust because I'm not a mechanic and only really know that the white smoke and smell was my blown head gasket and when I changed it that trouble went away. But now my truck is sitting again because I have no idea whats going on with it now. Sorry I can't help more but go read the link I posted, Hope it helps

David, what year is your truck and do you have a check engine light on? You should have someone pull the codes for you. You could have a bad O2 sensor. They are much easier to replace than a head gasket.

i have the computer to pull the codes and the only code that keeps coming up is the cam sensor and ive replaced it twice and ive already replaced all the O2 sensors since this problem has started and i dont believe it is a blown head gasket because the radiators no losing any antifreeze
