my ranger makes a sound when i start it to like a clicking sound. click click click click. it does it like that but fast. i had it checked out they said it might be a timing chain adjuster. there was some recall about those in the explorers. some rangers might have it to he said. it might be that. but maybe a lot worse then mine. just a thought
