I would have the same problem but no noise. When I get off work sometimes, I would start the truck up and put it in reverse. Then when I put it into drive and want to starting going forward, the truck sits in place as I'm gently stepping on the accelerator as the RPM is revving up: nothing. So I would step off the accelerator and do it again and then I would get a jerk from the truck and then start going forward. This doesn't happen often but sometimes. Other than that truck runs fine and more smoother now that I cleaned the MAF, throttle body and IAC and installed a new air filter.
