Including that day I have driven it in the snow five days with ZERO problems. When I described the problems to the tech he immediatly said air filter and that it was a common problem. I think for ~$30 its worth a try.

I agree that it could be something much more complicated but everyone that has reported this problem in this thread is not running a factory air filter...
