Okay, if it's shifting fine when the light isn't on, then it sounds like a soft part/electrical problem. The computer is sensing something during a certain condition. We need to find out that condition for now. If you can, drive the truck and monitor what happens before the light goes off. Pay attention for slippage, hard shifts, abnormal RPMs etc.
