Well after great consideration and many mind changes about the motor i wanted, I am going to go with a 5.0 mustang motor out of a 92 notchback with the aod trans. I know what i need to do to get the motor to fit in the truck, however i have a few questions about the wiring of the engine into the truck. I was wanting to go with the mustang motor, and the 5.0 explorer engine harness, does anyone know if the harnesses will interchange? i am mainly doing this because i want to keep the computer in the ranger's factory location. Also with the engine and trans combo i'm going with, does anyone have a similar setup that could tell me about how long the driveshaft would have to be to get it to work on the truck? Any and all help or advise is greatly appreciated.
