Ranger Fans

I have a 2000 ranger ext cab 2wd a co worker of mine just bought a 1994 mazda b2000 4wd regular cab we, were comparing the body styles and they look pretty similar ie: box side and fenders etc were ford and mazda in bed together in the past or were there 2 many beers involved in our comparsion any help!
