Re: Fixed Fuel Gauge on 87 Ranger
damn Nismo....beat me to it
i basically had the same pics from my 85 build....but i have a mechanical fuel pump
i know the 1st gen trucks are notorious for having bad floats on the sending units
but what would you expect from a 20+ year old truck
normally when i hear of a gauge not working in the older trucks 9 out of 10 times its the sending unit
i went cheap on my 85 build and used one for a boat.....mostly because it cost me around $40 while a new factory replacement would have cost me over $100
not really recommended if you have a really clean truck
my 85 is really rough so i don't care as long as it works...lol
