Scott, I had a similar deal with my F100. Buddy had an 85 F150 w/ 302, AOD, and 8.8 w/ 3.73's. I had what I have in my sig. We had a little pulling contest in our trucks. He thought he could out pull me. Well, even though my F100 is half dead, and has close to the world's worst pulling gear ratio, the pull was dead even. He couldn't pull mine, I couldn't pull his. Later I heard that he got scared when he felt his truck move, so he put on the brakes so he wouldn't move. Don't know how true that is, but i'm not surprised if it is true.
