I dabbed a bit of poly onto the OEM screws - hoping that buys me a few more rustless years. It's a simple thing but aesthetically I prefer the black screws over SS metallic screws.

Same here, thought I could drop some back paint on the stainless screws.I've watched him for at least five years and never heard him say anything nice.
