I graduated high school in 1995 driving a brown single cab swb 2wd ford ranger with 4 cylinders. I currently own a 2001 single cab swb 2wd Ranger EDGE with a 3.0 v6. Bother were manual shift. The 83 was a 4spd Manuel the 01 has a 5spd.
The 01 is under construction and I am in the market for a v8 swap. Wanting to stay 2wd or go AWD depending on the donor. Going the street route, maybe even sleeper. Not new to ford's but also limited knowledge so I am willing to learn and share what I know.
I worked in a brake shop for a few years as a lathe man and assistant Mechanic, so I have some knowledge in that department.
I can weld aluminum and steel with a mig set up. Not much tig experience. Some fabbing skills.


Looking for a good group of 2wd Ranger owners. Other forums are really 4wd oriented with limited 2wd info.not knocking 4wd just not my thing
