From my understanding.. The spindle is the only "like" shared component outside of that the knuckle itself is different therefore even if the Sport Trac bracket was to fit, the ears or tabs on the knuckle would end up still being short or too long possibly. Truthfully I'd have to measure both myself to clarify and verify that.

I'm certainly not the first to do this and the three guys mentioned most about this on TRS, if that was possible they would not have wasted the time I am sure to make brackets as I will end up doing; They would have taken the shortcut as well I'm sure.
