The above checks will rule out the obvious. Ultimately it may come down to a failing Fuel pump or fuel pump relay. The short of it, can you recall when you slowly turn the key forward, door closed, if you hear the fuel pump prime?
Its a short 1-2 second whirrrrring noise. If you dont get that right away each time you turn the key forward, that could indicate a bad relay or pump too. Relay would act much like the inertia switching issue.
