By the way, it took quite a while and some bad words to get the first side back together. I did much better on the second side.
One issue i had with the adjuster kit was that the slots on the adjuster were too narrow for the brake shoe. In had to open them up with a file by .030 in.

They adjust when you brake while backing up. Adjust the star wheel until you can just slide the drum on. If your adjusters are working they will tighten a bit with use. If they become looser with time something is wrong with the adjuster.
