Hi Im new here but I've been reading (before joining) for quite some time.
I've got a 93 2wd 2.3 ranger in planning on doing a 88 302 efi out of a previously swapped 98 ranger with an AOD converting to t5 WC.
From what I've gathered he already has the ranger conversions mounts on the motor (motor in buying from a friend) 80k 450$ I will need all the conversion parts, new clutch, pilot bearing, backing plate, trans, etc. I don't know what year to purchase a t5 from that will hold up to banging heads, plan on running hydro push pin mod so I can keep my (6mo old) master cyl and pedal assembly same. QUESTIONS- what else do I need to acquire? How do I make the stock wiring work? How do I make my existing speed sensor (gear) work?
Keep in mind I'm just gathering parts and prepping for now. Thx
