I have found that if I put the key in the ignition and turn to the accessory position and wait for the chimes/dinging to stop (10-15 seconds) and then start it seems to run better (for the most part) as opposed to jumping right in and firing it right up. I would think the issue has to do with fuel delivery. Thoughts?
So far I have replaced:
- Plugs - motorcraft
- wires - NGK
- ignition coil - motorcraft
- PCV valve - motorcraft
- fuel pressure regulator - motorcraft
- fuel filter - motorcraft
I have cleaned:
- MAF & pigtail connector and coated w/ die-electric grease
- throttle body
- IAC & pigtail connector and coated w/ die-electric grease
These parts either needed to be replaced due to necessity or routine maintenance.
Any helpful thought are appreciated.

Fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator would be my next guesses. Both are easy to check. Start by checking fuel pressure at the rail.
