Hi all, got me a 2002 XLT and just bought a keyless entry system off ebay.
fitted it all today, and it works on every door except the drivers door, just done a search on google and apparently i already have keyless entry, just no fob.
there is a black box in drivers side footwell that has
'Unit Burglar Alarm'
bunch of numbers
Naldec 34102 44

Wrote on the front with about 4 plugs coming out of it, i assume this is the alarm/keyless entry device all in one thingy lol

Thing i want to know is,
A) Can i programme my fob from the new device to the already fitted device?
if not:
B)How do i disconnect the original device but keep alarm intact and can i wire up my new device

Also if i disconnect existing device, with it maybe being an all in one, can i just disconnect the keyless entry part? would the new device have to run through the alarm

If anyone can work out my rambling, HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED
