And service is getting cheaper, they are giving people more of it, and employer/retiree discounts keep getting better and better. For example, Verizon give me a 25% employee discount and if I were willing to accept ATT they would do the same. Something to maybe look into.

Bill I appreciate your help, but. For the wife and my life styles,Tracfone works great. I have been with Tracfone for 18 years,my wife about 12 years.I have mega minutes,data,texts because I rarely use my phone, except for emergencies, or a little more in the Summer for lawn mower buyers and sellers,plus we have a home phone. I never have issues with our TF, except when I'm forced to call customer service, which is once every 5 years.Lastly it costs us $18 a month and we are both retired and have many more needs, than our phones.
