Default How To: Remote Start

So I just finished installing an Avital 4103 1-Way Remote Start with an Xpresskit PKALL bypass into my automatic 2000 ranger. The following guide is ONLY for the remote start portion of the kit and is specific to my 2000 Automatic 4.0 4x4 Ranger. Other year rangers will be 98% similar but I imagine there will be slight differences.**I'll be including the wiring for the door locks in the future as the OEM key fob will not unlock the doors if the truck is locked and remote started**

The items needed for the install:
* Avital 4103 (or any other kit that is compatible with a ranger)

* Xpresskit PKALL (or any other bypass that is compatible with a ranger)

* wire strippers (I prefer these because I can pull back the jacket with ease)

* assortment of wire terminals, butt connectors, and crimpers/OR soldering iron and solder, electrical tape

* 1 OEM key if 1998-2000 ranger OR 2 keys if mid-July 2000-2011 ranger for programming bypass module

* wiring diagrams (the diagrams I used are posted below but different year rangers will be different. Start your search with the websites below)

1993-2004 wiring info

* Lastly, you need TIME and PATIENCE. oh, and to be able to lay in an uncomfortable position for 5 minutes at a time
