I just bought this truck from a tow truck driver for pretty cheap. Did a carfax on it and there wasn't any record of the odometer readings. It wasn't registered very often throughout its history, either. One owner until the owner tried to sell it to another guy who failed to get it to smog. His friend drove it and fried the clutch.
Well the tow guy came out and picked it up, changed the clutch, replaced the fuel filler hose, and replaced the back tires. I bought it as is.
For the first person in my immediate family to have a truck, this is a little like uncharted territory.

Mileage...how many miles does it have? Based on the pedals, steering wheel, and shift knob, I thought that it might not have rolled over the mileage. Could this be a 21.7K mile truck? maybe? Probably 121K right? perhaps more?
I'd like some help in figuring that out by looking at these pictures.

Also, the dashboard coolant temperature indicator is stuck. Is there a common cause for this? Thanks!
