My brother's 06 ranger recently started making an intermittent grindy type sound around the passenger side of his engine. Not sure what it is, what do you guys think? Also he was worried about the ticking which you can also hear. I figured the ticking is fine, its just the cam lobes making contact with the top of the valves i figured but maybe im wrong?
