wives tail my ass.... Synthetic has smaller molecules allowing it to pass through small cracks or worn seals that regular oil cannot. Look it up if ya don't think so..... Switching to synthetic oil on a higher mileage engine is not recommended because of this. Same as a trans flush on higher mileage transmissions isn't wise either.
