I have a 2006 and I took a sharpie and drew a line around the striker the part on the body not the door.
and I drew the top bottom and outside.
I loosened the two bolts on it.
they are torx I think size 35.
I then slide it in towards the seat about a 1/16 inch.
I drew the line so I know I didn't let it move up or down.
And so I could tell how much I moved it.
I tightened them back up.
It worked great all the way to work I was thinking something is wrong its quiet in here.
I guess it rattled worse than I thought.
Because I sure could tell when it didn't
