Was driving on rt. 90 a couple days ago, passed a square Ranger that had one of those Glad disposable food containers taped over the taillight bucket. They'd used translucent red taillight tape (we've all seen that stuff) to secure the container, and had even used another piece of plastic inside to separate the reverse light (didn't have tape on that part).

The amount of work that went into engineering this "fix" would probably have been more than installing a new lens. Of course a new lens would have been, what $15-20 at a junkyard?

Had to admire his creativity, and other than that driver's side rear bed corner rumpled from backing into something the Ranger looked pretty decent.
