What is the purpose you are looking at this for? Is the truck really beat up or are you just going for looks?
The down sides I can see to vinyl coating the whole thing is air bubbles and wrinkles if not done right and rust problems from trapped water under the vinyl.
A small truck kit costs $670 or something like that plus whatever the install cost will be if you are paying someone. It might be more cost effective to have someone paint the truck camouflage if you are wanting to steer away from the rattle can look.
