YEa, not sure if that ever chagned. Never paid attention to my 03 Edge / 11 Sport. I do like the temp adj in teh electric. Very smooth. Sure it wouldn't be worth the time and $ to convert the truck to electric.

Also, I find it funny that my 03 edge is electric and yours isn't... mine was made in August so yours might be from the beginning of the year.
