Yeah, I treat my knives very well. The biggest reason I didn't like the translucent blue one was because it's riveted instead of screwed. I can't take it apart for deep cleaning.

Now that I have my new one, I'm going to drill the rivets and get a screw kit for it.

None of my knives have ever tasted cardboard. I have a few good utility knives that I use for anything that will damage a blade. I buy quality pocket knives for a reason, that reason isn't to trash them. Lol

I've got a mini Rukus that will be getting custom G10 grips soon.
I can't stand Micarta grips and mine didn't hold up worth a shit. My Rukus is the only knife I'm "rough" with, it's my camping knife
